Mindfulness for Everyday Awareness – every Wednesday until 17 June 14:00 *
Everyday Awareness sessions are to encourage a small commitment of pausing ‘little and often’ to reconnect with the present reality and increase these moments towards a continuous experience. This session aims to provide a taster, or reminder for those returning, of the usefulness of this practice whether you are working from home or needing to take a break in the office.
The series of free virtual Mindfulness for Everyday Awareness sessions are in partnership with the University of Westminster with experienced practitioner Yusuf Kaplan.

The Quarter Pub Quiz Night – 25 June 18:00
We know how much you love our popular pub quiz and we didn’t want you to miss out, so we’re bringing the BakerStreetQ quiz to your front room. Who are the biggest brains in Baker Street?
The format will be the same as usual i.e. teams of six, but this time there’s no limit on how many teams you can have from each organisation. Enter a team (of up to six people) for £45 or individual entrants for £7.50, all proceeds will be donated to Hearts to Homes, a fund formed by St Paul’s Church and Newpin to directly help those in need in our local community.
Sorry we can’t provide the drinks and snacks this time but we can provide a prize for the winners.

Mental Health First Aid – (BakerStreetQ members course) THIS COURSE IS FULLY BOOKED
Led by a MHFA England certified trainer, this four day online course (10:00 – 13:30 and 14:30 – 16:30) qualifies you to be a mental health first aider. You will gain an understanding of common mental health illnesses, be given the confidence to promote mental health awareness and the ability to spot signs of mental ill health.

ACT Awareness e-Learning Guidance
The insight gained from this interactive ACT Awareness e-Learning course will benefit all employees, and would ideally be used as part of a new employee staff induction. Starting with an introduction to terrorism, the course then covers guidance to help employees identify and respond to security vulnerabilities, suspicious behaviour, bomb threats and weapons attack. Free 12 Week Course: Improving Workplace Cyber Security
We are working with the Police Security Digital Centre (PDSC) in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police to deliver a free 12-week course supporting your business to enhance it’s cyber security. Addressing this issue during the current situation would be beneficial to any company as so many of us are working from home.

First Aid Refresher Course
St Johns Ambulance are offering existing first aiders free access to its e-learning Annual refresher course.
If you are a first aiders, this course will keep you on top of your first aid skills. The interactive modules refresh knowledge of the five key life saving techniques:
• Chest pains
• Severe bleeding
• Recovery position
• Basic life support & AED (CPR)
A certificate of completion will be available to download once all five modules are finished.
Please note the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced a 12-week extension to all First aid at work and Emergency first aid at Work certificates that would have expired after 16 March.
