1000th Tree In Westminster Tree Trust Programme

The Lord Mayor of Westminster joined with Alan Titchmarsh and local schoolchildren to plant the 1000th tree to be planted in Westminster as part of the Westminster Tree Trust initiative. Our Environment Manager Alhoussein was there to witness the tree being planted and met with the Lord Mayor, Cllr Hamza Taouzzale, and the celebrity gardening expert himself.

The tree planting initiative is delivered by the charity Westminster Tree Trust, as part of a wider scheme to make Westminster a greener and more attractive place in which to live, work and to visit.

For more information on the charity’s work please see their website. BakerStreetQ continues to deliver many sustainable projects, with more projects upcoming. You can read more about our activities here.
