Your Back To Work Plans Revealed

Last month we carried out a survey to find out more about your plans and thoughts on returning to the Quarter. This was carried out before the government’s change in advice to return to the workplace. Here are a few highlights from our findings:

  • 92% of respondents will be returning to the workplace by September
  • 53% of respondents will return to the workplace 2 or 3 days less per week than previously
  • 70% of respondents are concerned about travelling to the workplace with 8% responding that they had no concerns

As part of the survey we wanted to find out what people missed most about Quarter with 70% saying ‘going out for food and drink at lunchtime’, 50% choosing both ‘meeting up with work colleagues’ and ‘going out for drinks in the evening’ as other activities they’ve missed. With almost half stating they would choose to visit local restaurants and cafés for their lunches. Taking part in wellbeing events and other learning opportunities was also high on the agenda for members.

The findings on return to work plans were part of our annual survey to all members, carried out between June 24 and July 17. To request a copy of the summary of results please email info@bakerstreetq.co.uk.

To find out more about our recovery plans to support your return to the workplace including travel guidance, returning to work guidance, additional cleanliness measures, local giving, information on shops and hospitality and wellbeing advice please visit our webpages. In response to member demand we have also produced a summary document designed to be used in your return to the workplace information for colleagues. This details all the measures that have been put in place in the Quarter to reassure those returning to the area. Download a copy here.
