Bringing The Pub Quiz To You!

We know how much you love our popular pub quiz and we didn’t want you to miss out as, temporarily, we can’t visit our favourite Baker Street Quarter boozers, so we’re bringing the BakerStreetQ quiz to your front room on Tuesday 28 April at 6pm. And this time round, as you enjoy a get together with your colleagues, you’re also be helping the Baker Street Quarter’s closest food bank, North Paddington Food Bank, which serves the whole of the north of the borough.

The quiz will be hosted by the usual brilliant quiz master; but don’t think because they can’t see you that they’re not all knowing! This time you will only have a tiny window to confer with your team mates on each answer. Extra points will be given for speed – so no Googling allowed! Questions will include a mix of multiple choice, picture rounds and brain teasers – we’ll be testing your local knowledge too.

The format will be the same as usual i.e. teams of six, but this time there’s no limit on how many teams you can have from each organisation. Enter a team (six people maximum) for £45 or individual entrants for £7.50, all proceeds will be donated to North Paddington Food Bank to directly help those in need.

Sorry we can’t provide the drinks and snacks this time but we can provide a prize for the winners.

How it works:

• Book your ticket on the Eventbrite page to let us know you are coming
• Gather your team of six on the platform you use for work meetings or conference calls i.e. Microsoft Teams or Zoom so you can confer
• Decide who will be putting your answers into the online quiz
• Open your email at 5.30pm to retrieve your password and link to the quiz
• At 5.45pm be ready to go with a drink, peanuts and team mates in tow
• Login to the quiz just before 6pm
• 6pm quiz starts and lasts for an hour with comfort breaks and the chance to refresh your drinks
• There will be an audio stream so you can listen to the quiz master live, and an ongoing commentary of who is in the lead – we will all know who is coming last (hope BakerStreetQ team manages to pull up from 7th position this time!)
