Business Interruption Insurance

A recent judgement at the Supreme Court means that thousands of business insurance policyholders will now have their claims for Coronavirus-related business interruption losses paid, and many more businesses will be able to explore payouts with their insurers.

The Financial Conduct Authority brought the case to the Supreme Court as a test case to get clarity for businesses on these policies, and will now be working with insurers to ensure payments are made promptly.
