Calling All Entrepreneurs…

Local members club Home Grown, and part of the Home House Group, has launched Green Shoots, a programme for new entrepreneurs affected by Covid-19.

Home Grown is awarding a membership with a business support package worth over £20,000 to five new founders for a period of six months. The programme is open to founders whose former careers have been affected by the impact of Covid-19, and who have started their own company to make a positive impact.

The successful entrepreneurs will receive a six-month membership of Home Grown, mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, a £2,000 budget allocation to spend in the club, exclusive investment opportunities, as well as access to a series of comprehensive business workshops to help their business off the ground. Home Grown has recognised that people who have worked for years in a corporate environment now find themselves in new territory and have made the decision to start their entrepreneurial journey. The current economic climate has forced many to reevaluate their path, embracing the “New Normal”, and this has accelerated their decision in becoming a founder of a new venture with a sustainable focus.

The deadline for applications is 31 January. For more information, visit the Home Grown Club’s website.
