Help Give Our Local Elderly a Summer Trip to Remember!

Working in partnership with Penfold Community Hub, and as part of our Smarter Giving initiative, we are planning to take a group of 48 of our treasured elderly community on a fun-filled outing to Windsor, where they’ll enjoy a riverboat cruise on the Thames, plus, Afternoon Tea. Our summer trips are hugely popular with both attendees and volunteers, who we have previously taken to Eastbourne and Kew Gardens.

With many of those on the trip struggling with mobility, this is a fantastic opportunity for them to meet new people and have some fun on an assisted outing in a beautiful setting. To make it all possible, though, we need your help. Together we need to raise £1,200 to fund the event, and we need volunteers, too, to help push wheelchairs and share smiles with our guests. So, how about it? Could you hold an Easter bake-off, or donate your Bank Holiday travel money? Or you could simply donate your time and take part…
