Celebrating International Women’s Day 2022
It’s International Women’s Day on 8 March and we have a special line up of events to celebrate the day. We are bringing back our inspiring panel discussion for another year featuring current-day successful women of the Quarter who will be sharing their stories and advice, plus a virtual tour introducing you to the women of Marylebone past, as well as wellbeing events throughout the month to help you feel great.
After last year’s fantastic virtual panel discussion, we are delighted to be running another discussion event featuring some modern-day inspirational women of the Quarter on Tuesday 8 March. Join the women of Marylebone as they chat through the ups and downs of their jobs and how they have powered through to get to where they are today in our lunchtime online panel session. More details are available here. Looking to uncover some of the fascinating history of Marylebone? Discover our area’s fabulous Women of the Past on 1 March in our free virtual lunchtime walk with Tour Guide Tina Hodgkinson. To further complement our IWD offering, on 8 March our virtual Love Your Brain session will have you feel more alert, energised, productive and creative. Sign up for this free lunchtime session here. To round off our month of IWD celebratory activities, get yourself aligned with our online Pilates lunchtime session on 29 March.
Later this month, Michelle from local business New Body and Soul is running a session for women in their late 30s to 40s who’ve perhaps been noticing changes in mood, weight, energy and more. Michelle will take you through three important steps to support your health on Wednesday 23 February. Find out more and sign up here. With a focus on equality and diversity, our training session on 24 February is an essential for those putting equalities into practice in the workplace. This training is exclusive to BakerStreetQ member businesses and takes place virtually.
