Congestion Charge: Have Your Say

Transport for London is inviting views on proposed changes to the Congestion Charge, which would see a reduction in the current charging hours.

In 2020, temporary changes to the charge were introduced that saw extended charging hours until 22.00 every day and an increased charge level to £15. This was in response to the transport challenges of the pandemic and emergency support funding of TfL. The new proposals would reduce the charging hours to between 7.00 and 18.00 Monday to Friday, and 12.00 to 18.00 at weekends to help support the culture, hospitality and night-time businesses, while keeping the daily charge at £15.

You can give feedback online or email it to ccyourview@tfl.gov.uk. The consultation closes on 6 October 2021, after which the Mayor of London will make a decision on how to proceed.
