Firefly Capital Host Jubilee Party for Penfold Community Hub

Firefly Capital have created a wonderful, long-term partnership with Penfold Community Hub, a local charity that supports the over-50s in the nearby Church Street area. In celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year, Firefly Capital hosted a Jubilee Party for Penfold guests and residents, providing food, games and lots of fun. For many who attended, it was their first chance to meet face to face since December 2019.  It was a fabulous afternoon and incredibly well received by those who attended.

The work that Penfold does is hugely important, serving a large community of older residents, many of whom live alone, and provides them with opportunities to meet new people, and access services (health care, financial support and wider advice) that they may not otherwise have access to, as well as tackling the huge challenge of social isolation, particularly post-lockdown.
