Home-Start Covid Recovery Appeal

Support local families, acutely affected by the challenges of the last few months, by donating to Home-Start Westminster’s Covid Recovery Appeal.

Home-Start’s expert volunteers help children and families through a range of difficulties including bereavement, illness and social isolation. But its crucial support services have taken a hit with the pressures of the coronavirus, leading to temporary closures of Children’s Centres and other resources stretched.

Now more than ever the charity needs to be there for socially-isolated families and parents under emotional and financial pressure.

Home-Start Westminster wants to raise £10,000 so its vital work can continue over the coming months. Simply donate to its online appeal here. And thanks to the appeal’s inclusion in the government’s Localgiving £1m Coronavirus Fund, all donations will be doubled.

Donations will be matched by up to £75 per donation until 10.00 on 3 November, and from £5,000 per donation from 10.00 3 November until 12.00 on 9 November, when the appeal ends.

For more on all the great work you will be contributing to by donating, visit Home-Start Westminster’s website here. Do let us know if your company has decided to donate as we would like to feature any giving in our newsletter to encourage other companies to do the same, contact smartergiving@bakerstreetq.co.uk.
