Introducing: London Shield App

If you’re responsible or involved in security for your company, you may wish to download the new counter-terrorism app from the Met Police: PSO London Shield. The app aims to provide a single source of up-to-date counter terrorism information, advice and guidance for the whole of London, and has been designed for London organisations to use to strengthen our city’s protection from a terrorist attack.

To use the app, download it onto your smartphone, complete the registration and you’ll be provided with log in details.

Here in the Quarter, we maintain our own local app – Incident Alert – as part of our ongoing work to increase safety, security and resilience across the Quarter. Our Incident Alert system updates you in real-time about any major incidents about the area, has a full suite of incident resources, as well as notify you in advance of planned events like marches and protests that could have an impact on your staff.
