Is Your Bike Ready For Summer?
If your bike has been languishing in the shed this winter getting rusty, then why not make sure it’s fit for summer and take it along to George’s Park on George Street Tuesday 23 July or Tuesday 20 August for a session with Dr Bike?
At Dr Bike sessions, which are compliments of Westminster City Council, experienced cyclists and mechanics will give your bike the once-over and check everything from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. By the end, your bike will feel loved and cared for once more.
Minor adjustments will be done on the spot, with advice and a rough guide to costs being provided for major issues.
Westminster City Council has funded the Dr Bike sessions to help promote regular cycling and get more of us on our bikes and on the road. And it’s a great opportunity, too, for cyclists – novices and pros – to pick the brains of friendly and approachable mechanics about cycle training or other cycling activities.
You can drop off your bike from 8.00am and pick it up before 2pm, or you are welcome to wait.
Check out our other events and activities.
