Keeping The Quarter Clean

Our Street Team have had some great recent successes working with Westminster City Council to keep the Quarter spic and span.

We have recently seen a few instances of fly tipping – the illegal dumping of waste – within the Quarter, and specific ‘hot spots’ are firmly on our radar. Our Environment Manager Al is working closely with businesses and Westminster City Council to deter suspicious activity and report any waste to be collected to Veolia, the Council’s waste contractor.

By reacting quickly to instances of fly tipping and through identifying hot spots, we’ve been able to respond rapidly when this issue occurs and keep the Quarter clean and tidy. Al even intercepted and deterred one vehicle as it attempted to fly tip at a hot spot in the Quarter recently.
