KitchenAid Helps Kids Bake

In the run up to Christmas, as part of our Smarter Giving initiative, students from local King Soloman’s Academy were invited to KitchenAid’s beautifully equipped London Experience Store on Wigmore Street for a pre-Christmas baking session. Store manager, Mandy, who feels strongly about getting young people into the kitchen, was keen for us to introduce her to a local school and share her passion for baking. Not at all daunted by the two workshops of 12 students, Mandy soon had them all making gingerbread dough from scratch, cutting out shapes, baking and decorating.
