Lace Up Your Trainers For Charity
12 July 2021
Local charity and one of our Smarter Giving partners, Pursuing Independent Paths (PiP), is looking for half marathon runners. The Royal Parks Half Marathon takes place on 10 October with a route that takes you through some of the most glorious parks of London. By joining the PiP half marathon team, you’ll receive a green running t-shirt, a fundraising pack and regular emails to keep your training on track, support from the fundraising team and the best cheer squad of all: PiP students.
Based in Westminster, PiP supports adults with learning disabilities and autism to achieve their potential and move towards independence, whatever that means for them. Their services work to increase life skills, build social skills, improve self-esteem and more.
If you’re interested in signing up, please contact Kate our Smarter Giving Manager on smartergiving@bakerstreetq.co.uk. To take a closer look at PiP’s work, head to their just-launched pop up at 9 Princes Arcade in Piccadilly, where you can see their art, creative writing workshops and creations first-hand Monday to Saturday, 10am til 4pm.
