Latest TfL Figures
21 February 2022
TfL is data showing travellers at 60-75% of pre-pandemic levels and a similar rate of office workers are returning, bringing a great boost to the Quarter’s recovery.
The latest TfL data shows that Tube ridership has increased by more than 25% since early January, as confidence in the network continues to return in high levels. Ridership of the Tube is now at around 60% of pre-pandemic levels during weekdays and 75% at weekends, with bus ridership regularly at 75% of pre-pandemic levels. This reflects the data we are receiving from the Quarter’s office sector, which is reporting 60-75% of workers returning to the office.
Here in the Quarter, we have seen a continuous rise in travellers to our nearest tube stations, Baker Street, Bond Street and Marble Arch, since the beginning of the year, with a jump on the lifting of Plan B restrictions at the end of January.
Face coverings remain a requirement on all TfL services and in stations unless you are exempt, and enhance cleaning remains in place so you can be assured the network is cleaner than ever.
