New Wellbeing Events

We’ve got a great collection of events and workshops coming up to help give your mental health and wellbeing a boost as the darker nights draw in.

At the beginning of October, we have another of our ever-popular Mental Health First Aid Courses on Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7 October – free to our members. This virtual course is delivered as a combination of individual learning activities and a series of four live instructor-led sessions leading to a qualification as a Mental Health First Aider. Email us to book, and find out more here.

Alongside this, we have sessions on Understanding and Managing Stress on Tuesday 28 September – providing a toolkit for dealing with pressure and staying calm – as well as Embracing Difference on Tuesday 5 October – teaching strategies to embrace differences to be able grow together. Later in October, Nature’s Tonic on Tuesday 12 October will introduce attendees to the science of nature and wellbeing and how to integrate more into their lifestyle.

These sessions are delivered as part of our mental health and wellbeing programme that was enhanced in 2020 in light of concerns our member businesses had for their colleagues and staff, many of whom were working remotely or on furlough. The programme’s popularity has continued to grow and we are broadening its reach to benefit more people both through virtual as well as in-person events to reflect more hybrid working patterns and the increasing return to the area and workplaces.

For more information on forthcoming sessions, including how to book, visit our Mental Health and Wellbeing page here.
