Light It Up, Marylebone

The Quarter’s Christmas lights are now aglow, lighting up Baker Street and the surrounding area with festive illuminations, and our Christmas Lights Discovery Guide is ready to download for a self-guided tour and a little Marylebone history thrown in too.

Set off from Baker Street station, or any point along the route in our map, to explore the lights. From bejeweled geese inspired by the Sherlock Holmes tale The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle to Lady Montagu’s stockings, a little Marylebone history is woven into each bespoke lighting design and our guide will help you discover it.

Don’t forget to make the most of all Marylebone has to offer while you wander; our guide has a few ideas for where to grab a quick cocktail, pick up thoughtful gifts or soak up a bit of culture while you’re at it.

Looking to wander a little further? We’re delighted to be featured in the West End Christmas Lights Map this year. View it here for more festive inspiration in the capital.
