Make Mindfulness Part Of Your Everyday Routine
22 February 2021
Are you struggling to focus on your work, or do you need more time to reflect during your busy day? This 60-minute session will give you the space and time to help you be in the present moment and to improve your relationships with your colleagues, family and friends. ‘Paying more attention to the present moment – to your own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – can improve your mental wellbeing’ – NHS.gov.uk
Yusuf Kaplan (University of Westminster’s Interfaith Adviser) will share his inclusive approach to mindfulness for everyday awareness, which has been developed over many years of working with corporate professionals, academics and students. These gentle sessions with an experienced practitioner can give you a great reason to pause and also to discuss any issues you may be facing in a supportive environment.
These free group sessions are delivered via Zoom every Wednesday 17.00 – 18.00, and include a guided meditation, a time in silence and a theme for confidential discussion. There will also be the opportunity for online interaction between sessions, and additional sessions for individuals can be arranged on request.
