Make The Most Of The Quarter


For many of you, this month will see you return to your places of work and to the Quarter after a prolonged time working from home. To help you make the most of being back in the area and help you find your ‘new’ workout destination we’ve rounded up the area’s best–loved fitness venues.

The Quarter is home to some incredible fitness venues catering to all tastes and levels of experience, whether you’re looking for a high intensity workout to kickstart your day or a more relaxing wind-down after work.

BXR – located on Paddington Street, BXR’s state-of-the-art studio is perfect for getting your sweat on. However it’s not all about boxing; you can also enjoy strength and conditioning, yoga and Pilates classes.

Fitness First – situated at 55 Baker Street, Fitness First members have access to a host of activities, classes and equipment including a 20m swimming pool, a real rarity in central London!

KOBOX – the studio at 16 Baker Street offers 50-minute, high intensity sessions in the nightclub-esque studio.

Nobu Pilates – this stylish reformer Pilates studio at Nobu London Portman Square is perfect for an energised and focused session. Classes must be pre-booked, but there’s no requirement to be a member or hotel guest to attend.

Of course, wellness isn’t all about our physical fitness and it’s important to keep good mental wellbeing too, which is what our Mental Health and Wellbeing programme is designed to do. Become a Mental Health First Aider with our free member training course on 5 to 7 October, discover new techniques at our Managing Stress webinar on 28 September, and get your creative juices flowing at our Creative Writing Club on 14 October.
