Manchester Square Consultation

The deadline for emails of support, comments or questions about our new public realm vision for Manchester Square has been extended. You now have until Friday 3 December to submit feedback on the consultation, which has been developed with The Portman Estate and Westminster City Council, is extended until Friday 3 December.

The proposed scheme would offer a new public space in the Square, for local people and workers. By adding new seating and greening, as well as improving pedestrian safety and accessibility on the square with wider footways, reduced traffic and step-free crossings, the Manchester Square vision would be of great benefit to all those who use the Quarter.

The project will also help improve walking routes north of Oxford Street, encouraging visitors and improving the walking experience, as well as providing a new cultural space relating to much loved national institution, The Wallace Collection, and respecting the heritage of the Square.

You can submit emails of support, comments or questions about the proposal to stakeholderteam@murphycareyjv.co.uk, and for further information and proposed designs visit the project website. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday 3 December.
