Meet Our New Neighbourhood Inspector

The Quarter has a new Neighbourhood Police Inspector – Paula Dodds. Paula takes over from Ellen Lovett who was in the role while a permanent replacement was found.

Ellen has done a fantastic job during her time in the area. She has worked with us and our partners effectively across a range of issues, supporting our efforts to prevent and combat crime and anti-social behaviour as well as maintaining key partnerships in a team effort to create a safer neighbourhood.

Paula will continue this vital role, working closely with our Street Safety Team. She will be an essential link and sounding board for our security initiatives including the Baker Street Quarter Partnership Radio Network and DISC, an incident information sharing platform.
She will also be working to ensure there continues to be a smooth and efficient flow of communication and information between the Quarter and local crime reduction groups, councils and the wider police network including the Met. Paula’s efforts will ensure our members continue to be well-informed about incidents and initiatives, including planned responses to events like marches and demonstrations.

Working with our Neighbourhood Inspector is just one way we’re creating a safer Quarter. BakerStreetQ is also part of the West End Security Group, a membership organisation of BIDs and estates which works with key partners to improve community resilience.
