New Campaign For Youth Employment

Some of the Quarter’s businesses including Nobu, Itsu and Gourmet Burger Kitchen have joined more than 60 organisations by signing up to the #WayToWork campaign. This new campaign is centred around boosting young people’s ability to find jobs in the hospitality and retail industry.

The Placed app aims to get at least 200,000 youngsters back to work with its #WayToWork campaign. One in three 18-to-24-year-olds lost their jobs during the economic challenges of the last few months. With under-25s the biggest demographic in the service industry, it’s vital to empower this sector to return.

Through the employment app’s interactive tools, users can access personalised job matches, upskill or retrain, and find helpful content to get them job-ready

This campaign is run in tandem with the Government’s Kickstart Scheme for 16-to-24-year-olds.
