New Openings In Marylebone

Chourangi on Old Quebec Street is set to be one of London’s restaurant openings of the year, bringing Kolkata cuisine to Marylebone’s diners. Chourangi’s grand opening is on Thursday 7 October, and you can book now via Open Table.

The restaurant is named after Chowringhee, the oldest district of Kolkata, India. The menu will celebrate the food of the city with a unique blend of British, Dutch, Armenian, French, Portuguese and Chinese influences, reflecting the many overseas traders who visited the port over a 300-year history. Dishes will include the likes of prawn and crab parcels, banana flower croquettes and slow-roasted kosha lamb and aam aachar hilsa.

Elsewhere, one of the Quarter’s newest shops is Niwaki on Chiltern Street, offering the very best in Japanese design and craftmanship with their unique range of gardening essentials, homeware, stationery and more.

These are just two of many planned Portman Marylebone openings we can look forward to this autumn. To make sure you and your colleagues keep up to date, make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter if you don’t already receive it directly.
