Office Re-Occupation – Webinar And Readiness Survey

We are developing a recovery framework to support our businesses and our community as we all prepare to, in time, return to the Quarter and the workplace. Throughout this phase we are listening to you and advocating for what our businesses need the most at every level. We will be getting in touch with key contacts at our  member businesses to discuss the recovery framework this month. Alternatively if you would like to discuss this with us please get in touch. We are also gathering insights from experts to feed into our strategy to support and navigate you through pre-recovery and beyond.

As part of this preparation member business Knight Frank’s strategic consultancy team invites you to join a free webinar considering how offices and the workplace will be repopulated after coronavirus to help inform and test your own plans. We are also working with Knight Frank to inform the government’s thinking on that key unknown – timing – by letting government know how prepared you are for re-occupation via a quick survey.

COVID-19 has upended the world and as much as we all want to return to normal, some aspects of business and the office will change. In the short-term, we are all sheltering at home and eventually we will be distancing ourselves in the office, all in an effort to save lives. The WHO advises that all employers need to consider how best to decrease the spread of COVID-19 and lower the impact on their workplace as they begin re-population. Whilst we await relaxation of controls and guidance from the government, best practice is already being developed by organisations preparing for re-occupancy of offices. It is critical to build trust and confidence with staff to ensure that they feel safe to return. So, what does this mean for the office?

Webinar – 6 May, 9-9.45am – Learn more about the Knight Frank Re-Occupancy Roadmap as well as the 12 Dynamics that are shaping the future of real estate and the workplace as we move into the AC (after corona) world. This is suitable for any office occupier of any size. You will hear from Neil McLocklin, Head of European Consulting Practice and Dr Lee Elliot, Global Head of Occupier Research. Register for this free webinar here.

Confidential Readiness Survey – takes 2-3 minutes to complete. The key unknown in all this is when we will start to return. The government will be guided by science, but a consideration will be how prepared businesses are to ensure the safeguards and protocols are in place to create a safe workplace for staff and mitigate any risk of a second wave of infection. To help inform the government Knight Frank wants to find out how prepared UK office based businesses are and would appreciate 2-3 minutes of your time in answering this short survey (or passing on to the appropriate person in your business). The survey follows the Knight Frank Re-Occupancy Roadmap as a basis to evaluate preparedness. All responses will be confidential and we thank you in anticipation of your input.
