There’s nothing like the smell of a beautiful, glossy ‘real’ tree at Christmas time. But like the extra pounds we gained over Christmas, come the New Year, we can’t wait to get rid of them… but just like those extra pounds, it’s not so easy! We can’t help you with your waistline, but we can help you out with your tree. Through our Smarter Recycling programme, and in conjunction with our recycling partners, Paper Round and Westminster City Council, we have a tree recycling solution to meet your needs – or the size of your tree!

For trees under 2m high, businesses can use Westminster City Council’s free tree drop-off sites or its yellow sticker system for collections. A special, heavily discounted rate, is available for larger trees and treated as bulky waste collection. If you’d rather just pop your tree in a pre-paid bag and have it collected, then Paper Round’s solution is for you. Whichever solution you choose, you can rest assured that your tree will be recycled into mulch and used in parks and woodland areas. Just remember to strip it of all its decs first!
