Oxford Street District Vision In Progress…

If you’ve ventured down to Oxford Street lately, you couldn’t help but have noticed that the first stage of the works to improve the pedestrian experience in the District, and to make ready for the Elizabeth Line, are well underway. The works, which are part of Westminster City Council’s Phase One Safety, Maintenance & Enabling Works and their wider vision for the Oxford Street District, have already addressed a number of underlying maintenance issues, such as street lights, drainage and tree pits, with good progress made repairing utility cover and relining road markings.
