Paving The Way To Reoccupancy Within The Quarter
8 June 2020
Westminster City Council’s cleansing team and key partner, Veolia has been busy hot-washing pavements and sanitising bus stops and bins across the area to support a safe return to the Quarter. The sparkling streets will be once again kept under the close eye of Dan our Street Environment Manager as he returns to the Quarter to provide assistance to our businesses and our community by working closely with our partners and the local authorities to keep our streets in order.
We’re also taking measures to help your safe return by producing queue markers to manage social distancing. The free-of-charge markers can be ordered by any business in the Quarter to help manage the queuing systems required during this recovery period and will feature some of the stunning landmarks of the area. Whilst containing the important social distancing message they also include illustrations of Portman Square Garden arches, a ‘Wallace’ water fountain, the bandstand in Paddington Street Gardens and the green dome of Madame Tussauds. So, whilst helping to keep your queue in order they will also bring added vibrancy to the streets.
To order your queue markers, please email us with the quantity your business needs we can also help with installation if needed.
We’ve put together a Recovery Framework, which focuses on five key priorities that continue to support our businesses and our community as we move to a phased return to the Quarter. Find out more.
