Quarter’s Businesses Donate Generously to Homestart Westminster

Homestart Westminster is one of the amazing charities that we work with closely as part of our Smarter Giving programme. The area’s businesses have given very generously to this local grassroots charity that works with families living in the area that need support.

Homestart helps families struggling with post-natal depression, isolation, physical health problems, bereavement and many other issues by sending a trained volunteer to spend two hours a week in a family’s home giving them assistance where needed.

Our members have donated the following as a way of supporting this vital charity:

Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill hosted a volunteer day to thank the thirty Homestart volunteers for all of their hard work this past year – a particularly special event as it was the first time many of them had been able to see each other in person since the lockdown. The above picture shows some of the volunteers at the event.

Nobu Hotel generously donated £250 to Homestart from a fundraising event they hosted for staff.

Colliers provided venue space and lunch for Homestart for a staff awayday to enable them to gather their full team in one place for an important training day.

Holmes Hotel London made Homestart Westminster the charity partner for their launch event at their meeting and event space The Residence, and raised a fabulous £1,000.
