Recent Street Team Successes

The Street Team has been busy over the last few weeks, with footfall to the Quarter increasing every week and a rise in workers, visitors and families. Our Environment Manager Al has been welcoming more guests to the Quarter with each passing day and the sunshine has brought diners out too.

The team continues to work seven days a week, as it has throughout the last year, keeping the area spick and span, and cleaner than ever. Working with Westminster City Council, Environment Manager Al swiftly resolves any instances of flyposting, street waste and areas in need of cleaning to keep the Quarter in tip top condition and looking great.

The team’s roles are wide-ranging, and they regularly receive new training. They recently updated their understanding and awareness of current tactics of pickpockets and table surfers with some proactive training with Safer Business Network to coincide with hospitality restrictions easing.

Our Street Safety Team has been visiting businesses in the area – with over 200 visits clocked up in the last six weeks alone! Do say hello if you see them on your travels!
