Say Hello To Al

Meet Baker Street Quarter’s new Street Environment Manager – Alhoussein.

Al joins us from Bee Midtown BID where he has been Ambassador Manager since 2017. He has taken over from Dan who has moved on to a new challenge closer to home. We’re sure you’ll all join us in wishing Dan the very best for the future.

Al has the important task of ensuring the Quarter continues to be a neat, tidy and pleasant place to work and live. He will be out daily, monitoring the street environment and making sure issues are addressed quickly and efficiently.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to being that link between BakerStreetQ and our members, liaising with businesses and helping with all of the amazing events and initiatives the Quarter has to offer. I’m keen to work with businesses to make Baker Street Quarter an even better place to work, visit and stay.”

French-speaker Al, originally from Guinea, West Africa, was an ambassador at Northbank BID from 2013 before moving to Bee Midtown BID. But he’s aware each area has its own personality.

He added: “Change is always good, hence my attraction to this new patch of London. Baker Street Quarter is the heart of business districts. I want to be part of its success and I’m committed to achieve that with the whole team.”

Helen Burridge, Senior Manager Operations, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Al to the BakerStreetQ family. His past experience in different areas and enthusiasm for connecting and collaborating with a diverse range of individuals make him an ideal addition to our team. Dan was a great asset during his four years with us. His attention to detail and popularity with our members has left a lasting legacy. We wish him well in his new role.”
