Social & Wellbeing Programme To Ticks All The Boxes

Our 2020 Social & Wellbeing programme gets off to a fascinating and educational start with a free guided tour – The Wallace Collection’s Princely Arms and Armour on Tuesday 11 February at 1pm. This macabre, yet, captivating tour will take you back in time and all around the globe with a vast array of some of the world’s deadliest, but beautifully crafted weapons and armour. Places for this tour are free but, due to high demand, must be booked in advance.

Our walks programme continues throughout the year with new tours, Musical Marylebone, The London Blitz (marking its 80th anniversary) and a Spooky Ghost Walk – all designed to get you exploring the area and discovering the rich history of our Quarter.

Moving into April, and spring, we are thrilled, once again, to be supporting the Marylebone Food Festival by hosting, amongst other events, our hugely popular Marylebone Eats and Treats tour. A guided tour with a difference where guests are given the chance to sample tasters from some of the Quarter’s coolest restaurants and hangouts. Members should watch out for our popular Pub Quiz nights, which we will be hosting throughout the year. Then for everyone, do make sure you save the date in your diary for our Summer in the Square – 6 to 11 July 2020 – in the beautiful Portman Square Garden. Our week-long summer festival with live Wimbledon screenings, street food and jam-packed wellbeing programme in the Den.

George’s Park will continue to host fantastic street food vendors every other Tuesday and Thursday. And until May when a larger, extended version of our hugely popular food market moves to the Portman Square Garden for the summer, we will continue to bring together a tantalising selection of vendors on the second of Wednesday of each month at 55 Baker Street.

We’re constantly negotiating new social and wellbeing activities for you, such as a new mindfulness workshop, calligraphy class or yoga, so be sure to sign up to our newsletter and keep an eye on our events and activities calendar.
