Stay Well At Work – Top Tips
5 September 2020
As Autumn kicks in and we all have that back to school feeling we have pulled together some top tips to help you feel good at work. Everything from where you can take a break to energise, places to stock up on your nutrition, improving your brain power, easier ways to commute in, assurance on a cleaner Quarter and ways you can support the local community. Here are our top tips:
Plan your journey
Make your trip into work as hassle-free as possible by working out your journey in advance. Transport for London’s new travel app TfL Go offers real-time information, route options and service updates so you can commute in the way you feel most comfortable. Find out more here.
Stay Safe
We know you have hand sanitiser and a mask to hand; but everyone is going that extra mile to support your safety. Your employers will all have additional cleaning in place and we’ll be doing our bit too with weekly cleansing at key touch points around the Quarter, including banisters and pedestrian crossings alongside pavement jet washing.
Stay healthy
Wellbeing is also about staying nourished and hydrated. The Quarter is packed with plenty of options to ensure your lunch choices are nutritious and delicious. Try Simple Health Kitchen, Joe and the Juice, Pure or A.O.K Kitchen. For more light bite ideas, visit our Shop the Quarter directory. You can also check out our Autumn Graze Market with lots of local restaurants and cafes offering snacks and they’ll be wellbeing activities too 22, 23, 24 September 12.00 – 20.30.
Take a break
Screen breaks and getting fresh air are essential for keeping you motivated and energised. The Quarter has green spaces to discover on your doorstep, including George’s Park and Paddington Street Gardens. A little further is Hyde Park and Regent’s Park. Or there are fabulous gyms including DW Fitness, BXR and KOBOX to help you get your heart rate up! Exercise is a real stress-buster so go and explore with our map that suggests some walking routes.
Stay Connected
