Sustainably-Focused Cocktail Menu at The Churchill Bar & Terrace

The Churchill Bar & Terrace are serving up their beautifully-crafted and sustainably-focused cocktail menu. The menu of 12 cocktails covers ten environmental themes chosen by head bartender Christian Maspes and his team of mixologists. Themes include cocktails inspired by forest protection, renewable energy, air quality and wildlife conservation.

The Churchill Bar & Terrace overlooks Portman Square Garden, you can choose from the intimate space indoors or the lovely jasmine-scented outdoor terrace.

Highlights of the cocktail menu include: –

Be Hive: A blend of gin, pollen, hibiscus, mead and local honey, served in an individual beeswax cup which is then melted down and remade.

Green Lung: Served in a specially-made ‘mini-tree’ glass, includes Bourbon and clotted cream with maple and garlic flavours; £2 from every cocktail sold is donated to Trees4Travel.

Quarter Joy: Made with vodka, fino sherry and Aperol, combined with a specially made seasonally-changing cordial using each season’s flavours.

Agua de Vida: Made with Mount Gay Rum and a banana skin kombucha, reducing kitchen waste, this Tiki-style cocktail is served in a repurposed oyster shell.

Other choices include The Swell made with Mermaid Gin from the Isle of Wight with ethically sourced botanicals, and the Red Wilderness whisky cocktail, whereby £1 will be donated to The Fox Project.
