Top Tips From TfL Commuters

Transport for London has produced a series of videos following four Londoners on their commutes into central London and sharing their top tips. Watch the series here and look out for the clips on TfL’s social media channels. Working at a range of companies from Deloitte to Fortnum and Mason, the Londoners share their commutes, tips and changes they’ve made to their journeys, and their praise for the cleanliness of the network.

Over the last month, 75% of Londoners have used public transport and ridership across the network is at 60% of pre-pandemic levels. As London continues its recovery following the challenges of the last 18 months and more workers are expected to return to their workplaces in September, and we and TfL understand that there are many of you who haven’t used public transport for a while and are unsure of what to expect.

The TfL Go app is also a great way of planning your journey and checking for any delays, to find out the quieter times to travel and for live information about your route, from delays to number of passengers travelling. TfL is providing guidance to businesses that are supporting workers who may be travelling again for the first time, and you can find out more here.

We have been monitoring traveller numbers at the Quarter’s closest tube stations. We continue to see a steady rise in passengers and are enjoying seeing more of you back in the Quarter.
