Virtual Training From Home

If you’re not working in the Quarter at the moment, we still have plenty of resources to support you, your business and colleagues while you’re working from home.

Whether your WFH situation has got you in need of some help unwinding or you’ve been inspired to learn more about supporting your colleagues’ and friends’ mental health during these turbulent times, here’s a round-up of the training and wellness events we’ve got coming up – with a little fun thrown in too. All courses are free to Baker Street Quarter members and take place virtually.

Mindfulness for Everyday Awareness
17.00 – 17.40, 13 January – 3 February (four-week course)

Perhaps you’re struggling to keep focus in your work or you’re in need of a more reflective time in an otherwise hectic day. Experienced practitioner Yusuf Kaplan from the University of Westminster will share with you his inclusive approach of mindfulness for everyday awareness.

Mental Health First Aid
2 – 4 February

Learn how to support people experiencing mental health issues in this four-part course delivered by Mental Health First Aid England. This training will give you structures and strategies to use if you encounter someone experiencing depression, distress, psychosis and other conditions, and help you better identify common symptoms too.
