Welcome To Roketsu
7 February 2022
We’re delighted to have one of London’s most exciting new restaurants opening here in Marylebone, Japanese kaiseki restaurant Roketsu.
Roketsu brings the finest traditional kaiseki, a 10-course set menu centred on dashi (Japanese stock) and guided by the flavours of seasonal ingredients, to New Quebec Street. With a menu changing every month and following the seasons, Roketsu also offers one of the most exclusive dining experiences in the city, with just 10 seats at the counter and a maximum of 16 diners per night.
The chef and owner of Roketsu, Daisuke Hayashi, trained at three Michelin starred Kikunoi in Kyoto as a protégé of chef Yoshihiro Murata. The interior of Roketsu is just as special as the cuisine and has been specially designed and built by craftsmen from Kyoto using Japanese hinoki wood, preserved for over 100 years.
With a set 10-course menu at £190pp, Roketsu is open Tuesday to Saturday and bookings are available via their website. In March, an additional downstairs private dining room seating six will open.
Roketsu is sure to draw in diners wanting a truly unique and special restaurant experience in Marylebone. For a look at their exquisite food and interiors, follow Roketsu on Instagram.
