Westminster Still Connecting

Westminster Connects, was set up at the start of the pandemic and has recently marked its second full year of supporting vulnerable people in the local area.

The service was set up in March 2020 to support those who were vulnerable due to Covid-19, and with the help of volunteers, community groups and businesses including BakerStreetQ members, Westminster Connects has supported more than 25,000 Westminster residents. The services continues to operate, reach out and offer support to those in need.

There continue to be plenty of opportunities to be involved and volunteers often express how rewarding it is to help other people and their community.  If you would like to get involved, you can find out about our volunteering opportunities on the WCC website or email Kate on smartergiving@bakerstreetq.co.uk.

To inspire you, last year we highlighted the fantastic work that employees from Knight Frank have done in making calls to vulnerable people after undergoing training with Westminster Connects.
