WLM Needs Your Help To Protect Our Most Vulnerable People

West London Mission’s Seymour Place Night Centre, supports some of the most vulnerable and disconnected people in our society affected by homelessness, poverty and trauma. However due to the Coronavirus outbreak its dormitory-style accommodation has had to close and its users are now being accommodated in single hotel rooms. This accommodation is being paid for by WLM which has increased the charity’s costs to an unsustainable level of up to £20,000 per week. And this is where you can help.

To ensure WLM can continue to help, the charity is asking businesses ending the financial year with unspent marketing, community or procurement budgets to consider diverting funds to help them to protect the very vulnerable people they support.

Find out more about WLM’s continuity plan and donate.

Details of other charities and groups which are supporting the elderly, those in isolation and people in food poverty can be found here. There are also details of help needed for key workers.
