WLM’s ‘Old School’ Sports Day

If you get nostalgic about your old school sports days, then this new fundraising opportunity from West London Mission, could be just the thing for you…

On Friday 19 July, Seymour Place based WLM, who supports the homeless in our area to help them gain independent lives, is holding an old fashioned sports day in Portman Square Garden. Participating teams of six will compete in the old favourites – egg and spoon, wheelbarrow and three legged races. Even bean bag throwing and a tug of war. And something you most likely didn’t participate in during your school days, free Pimms! There will be a raffle, too, with some fantastic prizes.

With this being WLM’s first sports day, it will be limited to just six teams of six, with entry per team costing £1,000 – all of which will go to WLM to help the homeless.

If you’d like to take advantage of this great team building opportunity with a chance to have an afternoon of fun out in the sunshine, then please get in touch with Natalie at WLM.
