Supporting You Through Coronavirus

Latest update, 29 March 2021: The roadmap out of lockdown has begun and the ‘stay at home’ rule has ended. The Government guidance is to work from home if you can and only travel when necessary. For the latest information visit GOV.UK website.

  • Recovery Framework

Our Recovery Framework focuses on six priorities that continue to support our businesses and our community through coronavirus. Our programmes are centred around reassurance, sustaining amenity and vibrancy, mental health and wellbeing, advocacy and sharing insight, area promotion and local giving. Our approach draws on insight from a wide range of partners including our member businesses and land owners, real estate specialists, tourism bodies, BID colleagues and public authorities, and will remain adaptive and flexible as the context continues to develop.

  • Reassurance: Information on what we are doing to ensure you and your colleagues feel safe and confident in the Quarter and as you travel to and through it

Area Amenity and Vibrancy: Encouraging the community to support and enjoy our amazing local shops, cafés and restaurants and reminding everyone of our fabulous outdoor spaces

Mental Health and Wellbeing: Continuing and extending our popular training and activity programme which can be accessed by everyone whether they are working from home or in the Quarter

Advocacy and Insight: Collating industry specific business information by sector, the latest government guidance, insights we have gathered from our members and partners and how we are advocating for support for the Quarter’s businesses.

Area Promotion: Supporting hospitality and retail in the area to attract visitors through campaigns and partnerships.

Local Giving: Facilitating business support for local charities and key workers.
