Supporting You Through Coronavirus

Latest update, 8 December 2021: In response to the Omicron variant, the government has advised those who can to work from home. Face masks are required in most indoor public spaces and on public transport, and certain venues and events will now be required by law to check that all visitors over 18 years old are fully vaccinated, have proof of a negative test in the previous 48 hours or have an exemption.   • Recovery Framework

    Our Recovery Framework focuses on six priorities that continue to support our businesses and our community through coronavirus. Our programmes are centred around reassurance, sustaining amenity and vibrancy, mental health and wellbeing, advocacy and sharing insight, area promotion and local giving. Our approach draws on insight from a wide range of partners including our member businesses and land owners, real estate specialists, tourism bodies, BID colleagues and public authorities, and will remain adaptive and flexible as the context continues to develop.

  • Reassurance: Information on what we are doing to ensure you and your colleagues feel safe and confident in the Quarter and as you travel to and through it

    Area Amenity and Vibrancy: Encouraging the community to support and enjoy our amazing local shops, cafés and restaurants and reminding everyone of our fabulous outdoor spaces  

    Mental Health and Wellbeing: Continuing and extending our popular training and activity programme which can be accessed by everyone whether they are working from home or in the Quarter

    Advocacy and Insight: Collating industry specific business information by sector, the latest government guidance, insights we have gathered from our members and partners and how we are advocating for support for the Quarter’s businesses.

    Area Promotion: Supporting hospitality and retail in the area to attract visitors through campaigns and partnerships.

    Local Giving: Facilitating business support for local charities and key workers.

    Business Resource Hub: Helpful links and advice for navigating your business through Coronavirus.
